Today, the things that I thought mattered…don’t.
Because I hurt someone I love.
I was careless with a trust that I treasure so much, I took it for granted.
My heart is aching, my spirit pained.
Who can understand the mysteries of the human heart?
Who can live with a regret so heavy?
Forgiveness. Forgiveness. Love covers a multitude of sins.
Rebuild this city. Make the walls around it greater and stronger than before. Make it a city on a hill. High and Mighty. A strong Tower.
Beautiful God, if you can give your life for me, then I can be forgiven.
Like a balm, your words soothe me, O Lord. You know the price of Love. You paid the price for Love.

My spirit is tired tonight, but there is still much to be thankful for.

5. Wispy clouds with the moonlight shining through.

6. Forgiveness.

Thanks for visiting my blog and your wonderful words to me. I want to embrace the words that you have spoken and I choose to, because Papa has told me I am “His Beauty”….so I will believe He wanted you to remind me. Thank you.

I heard someone say once that when Papa shows us our sins He tenderly takes us, hand in His and walks us to the cross where mercy, grace and forgiveness are waiting us. That is such a different picture than I had ever been told.

What I love the most is knowing that the choices I make don’t define me. I am a new creation. Sometimes I fall back into the old mindset of the flesh but it is not who I am. I am dead in Christ, He is alive in me. It is finished. He has completed that work in me. I just have to reckon myself dead. I love knowing that when I choose sin, it does not identify me. It’s just a step back into the old. All I have to do is step back into who I really am.

It’s hard to feel the pain when we hurt someone we love, but it is often that pain that takes us to the Godly sorrow. We don’t want to revisit that place when we feel it.

I am glad to know that Papa is tenderly taking you in His embrace to that place of mercy, grace and forgiveness tonight.

He loves your tender, teachable, pliable heart!

You are a treasure to my heart and I am so very thankful to have found you.

Laura-may I give to you the words of David for encouragment today…
“Let all that I am wait quietly before God,for my hope is in him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.
My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him,
    for God is our refuge.
    ~Psalm 62:5-8
