Saturday morning is my time to reflect on the week and thank God for all my blessings.

This was a special week because we celebrated my sweet husband’s birthday. I promised some pictures of his birthday surprises, and here they are!

Presents waiting…

The boys were more excited than Jeff about his presents!

See what I mean?

Two must reads. Don Miller
is a family favorite.

But the big surprise was this Baggo! beanbag game. We thought it would be fun at Mountaineer tailgate parties! We’ve already had several tournaments in our living room. (Jeff is such a show-off.)

Thank you, Lord, for the sweetness of this week. As my head is filled with images of Hurricane Ike; of floods and destruction, I thank you that my family is safe and here with me. I pray for all those affected by this, and other, storms of life. You are the giver of all good things and we praise you, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thanks for visiting! I’m really excited about our new little arrival. I’m feeling pretty good just losing sight of my feet is all! I would love to share my preparations with you, but I’ll take the prayers in the meantime.

Day read To Own a Dragon so I’m familiar with that one, but who is the author of Un-Christian? Have you read “The Shack” by William P. Young? I just finished it and loved it!

Happy belated birthday to your hubby. I love the thought of using Saturday mornings to reflect on the past week. Great idea!!

Glad to have found you. I’ll be back to visit.

What a fun time with the family!
Your boys are so cute! The excitement shows all over their faces.
I’ve thought so much about those affected by the hurricane. I feel so blessed too to have my family all near by safe and sound.
    Have a good week!

Hi, I’ve popped over from Lelia’s page to say hi to a fellow Yes To God Bible studier. I see your husband received Don Miller’s book. I have that one and it’s on my Fall Into Reading 2008 list. I’ve already read through some, and it’s great, as are his other books.

I’m looking forward to the study and look forward also to checking out the other lady’s posts about the book. In Him, Paula
