The star is placed on high…

We lift our eyes and follow its light.

It leads us to Him—

The hidden One; tucked away in hearts until the time that we await.

We prepare.

Lights untangle…and with them hearts.

Hearts made ready by these traditions.

We remember…

Mark these special times.

And Martin Luther’s vision inspires.

We wait…

Oh, beautiful anticipation!

Immanuel, God with us.

For unto us a child is born…to us a son given… (Isaiah 9:6)

RYC: you’re so sweet. As for the feed–I have that happen with some blogs and if I keep trying over several days it finally kicks in and works—no idea why. I am VERY computer illiterate. I call our oldest daughter a lot for help.

I feel the warmth of your family through your pictures! Preparation and anticipation in the waiting makes for a greater appreciation of His gift of love, does it not?

I’m beginning to get a glimpse of what it’s like when His love is not divided, but multiplied. Your boys’ smiles lite up my heart!
