A great verse … What I needed to see right now! In this Psalm the Psalmist was going through all sorts of stuff. All he could hear was the roaring waters of trouble. But at his core, he realized that God had something much better for him. Though disoriented by his situation, he addressed it in faith!

Laura, I have always LOVED this verse. “Deep calls to deep” perfectly describes the longings we have but can’t articulate. Thank you for reminding me – it gave me such a lift this morning!

    Laura,

This is one of my favorite verses. I will carry this with me today.

I had a feeling I wouldn’t win your give away (I never win anything!) so I ordered a copy of it yesterday. I am so excited to read it as I know that anything you would recommend is well worth it. Thank you for sharing and perhaps sometime you could share some other great reads:)

    Have a great day!

    Praise the Lord!

I learned this Scripture in my teen years and didn’t realize that I would need it over and over and over again along with Psalm 23.

    Thank you my sweet sister.

The Psalms are sheer poetry and I love the alliteration in “Deep calls to deep…” I sometimes pray a Psalm, or sing one. They provide nourishment to our souls.

    Blessings, Lana
